Our primary audience, (62 %) are adults, parents, teachers, business leaders between the ages 24-54. Our secondary audience consists of teens 14-20 years old. Our weekly show gets at least 10-15 callers per hour and half of those are from young adults.
What format works well with the show?
Our show has been successful on almost every kind of format out there. The show is diverse and reaches out to all demographics. We have a majority of FM/AM talk stations, but we are also on an Oldies format, Country format, and have been on Hip-Hop formats. For example, in the Columbia market we are on a Talk station and selling thousands of dollars per Month for a 1 hour program per week. The show gets businesses targeting teens like fast food & pizza businesses, teen prevention organizations, etc. The show also gets sponsors that are looking to reach adult listeners such as, Blackwood Pet Food, Terratec Foundation Repair and other restaurants and shopping centers.
